Sun. Sep. 30 – Spit Roast with Terry Cook the Banjo Wizard

Terry Cook, originally from England, has performed in many bands and acts throughout Australia since the early 1970’s. Primarily as an instrumentalist his act features 5 string banjo and guitar instrumentals as well as singing popular vocal songs with a Bluegrass Country Style.

Other highlights include a tribute to Hank Marvin and the Shadows including such hits as Apache and FBI and then on to classic movie themes like The Deer Hunter, Deliverance , M.A.S.H. and so on.

As a one time Blues guitarist for many years Terry now as a maturing musician has found the 5 String Banjo his favorite instrument of choice.

The Apollonian’s famous spit roast is always a favourite. Popular with locals and visitors alike. A wood fired spit-roast is prepared in our rustic bush kitchen. Large platters of salad, hot potatoes and damper complete this popular meal … be sure to book early for this unique dining experience.
